After seeing the swamp of amazon.com boxes in my back yard after Christmas, I got a sickening feeling. The holiday spirit really has been taken over by commercialism. After going through all stages of greiving, I decided that it was probably easier to start a new holiday rather than to attempt to take back Christmas. Plus, by inventing a new holiday, you can free yourself from the religious connotations of the old ones. So we're inventing Favorday, a global day of acts of goodwill. Check it out!

One of the projects I'm working on now is the Front Runners. After training for and completing Marine Corps Marathon in 2007, many friends asked if they could run with me, so I put together a group to train for the Nashville Country Music Half Marathon in 2008.
